Traveler Convenience Will Abound when
Southwest Airlines Begins Service
to Turks and Caicos
We were excited to read on Deals We Like that on April 27, 2017, Southwest Airlines filed an application with the Department of Transportation to begin service from Ft. Lauderdale, FL (FLL) to Providenciales, Turks and Caicos (PLS). Service is set to start on November 5, 2017, subject to government approval.
If approved, Southwest will be the third airline serving the islands from Florida. Jet Blue flies to PLS non-stop from Fort Lauderdale, JFK and Boston. American flies non-stop from Miami, Charlotte, Dallas/Ft. Worth and Philadelphia. In addition, Delta has seasonal non-stop from Boston and JFK. United has non-stop flights from Newark daily, and from Chicago and Dulles weekly on Saturdays.
We feel that the more airlines and flights available for the convenience of our guests, the better.
Flights and Fares
We hope to see the schedule and fares to PLS at that time or sooner.
